The most wonderful week of the year!



That's right, it's Nuit Belge Week! The big event itself is on Friday night, but there are great food and beer events featuring participating restaurants and out of town breweries happening all week.

Here are the ones I know about: (And please do let me know if I've missed any)


Wednesday, March 7:

Bourree at Boucherie, 1510 S. Carrollton Ave.
Crawfish boil with Creature Comforts beer, chargrilled oysters, and live music (Bob and the Thunder.)

Thursday, March 8:

5 p.m.
Avenue Pub, 1732 St. Charles Ave.
Nuit Belge Brewers Welcome with Jester King, Creature Comforts, Blackberry Farm, NOLA Brewing, and Rhizome Productions
Featuring on draft:
  • NOLA Humid Nature (Collaboration with Modern Times) wild ale aged in Chardonnay barrels with LA sweets, blood oranges, and grapefruit. 6% ABV.
  • Jester King Simple Means farmhouse altbier with smoked malt and fermented with native Texas wild yeasts and bacterias. 5.6% ABV.
  • Creature Comforts Athena Paradiso Berliner Weisse with cranberries, raspberries, & tart cherries.
  • Blackberry Farm Draft Lab Dunkelbock.

Nuit Belge Hangover Brunch featuring dishes from chef Shay Levi from Let's Eat-Atlanta and the collaboration beer (Pleiades) that Jester King, Creature Comforts, NOLA Brewing, and Rhizome Productions brewed at Blackberry Farm Brewing.
